Our group will demonstrate these steps to configure the IP Address by using Windows 10. 1.   Type control panel in the search bar and click to open it            2.  There will be a list of choices that appear after you enter the Control Panel; go to Network and  Internet and then click it. 3.    When you open Network and Internet, you'll see two menus: Network and Sharing Center and Internet Options. User must click on the Network and Sharing Center menu.                          4 .  Your list of internet connections will show once you open Network and Sharing Center; whether you use Wi-Fi or ethernet is up to you. In this case, I'm using my house’ wifi to connect to a Wi-Fi network. Go to connections and select Wi-fi (rimaDeco5G). 5.     A Wi-Fi Status pop-up box will display. Then select Properties from the drop-down menu.  6....

Subnetting Calculation

  CALCULATE SUBNETTING Step 1 IP Address: 192.168.4.0/24     Default subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 Custom subnet mask: 255.255.255.224   Subnet 1 2 4 8 16 32 64 128 256 Host 256 128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1 Subnet Mask /24 /25 /26 /27 /28 /29 /30 /31 /32   Step 2 First, we must locate the bits that have been borrowed. Because our subnet mask is 24, we utilise formula 2 s – 2 and approximate it to 24. The 'S' represents the bits that have been borrowed. We apply the same method for the number of subnets, but without the approximation to 24. We apply the formula 2 H – 2 for the host address. Number of bits borrowed =    2 s – 2 = 24     ...
